How cool is this photo of my wife Danielle (and family music rock star Uncle Phil, Cheeseburger from www.oddnoggin.com, Optimus Prime, and Darth Vader) at Free Comic Book Day?

Free Comic Book Day is a single day – the first Saturday in May each year – when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores. The day was incredibly fun. Jetpack Comics put on a great event. The Odd Noggin Land table was a whirlwind of music and fun:

The photo above was taken by Kirk Membry, who also took THIS AMAZING 360 PANOGRAPHIC PHOTO of Danielle and I at the event. If you look closely, then you’ll also see Peter Laird, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. All said and done, it was a great day, where even little kids got a feel for what it is like to live in Odd Noggin Land:
